36. Everything has its gaps, and everyone experiences moments of difficulty. When someone is at a low point, harming them only multiplies the damage and can even be fatal. As for those in a strong position, one should not easily challenge them: on the one hand, strong opponents are not easily defeated; on the other hand, if they retaliate, it is difficult to handle. Therefore, "do not strike the strong." This is not only a strategy to avoid failure but also a form of self-protection. Only when you do not fall first can you have a chance to overcome your opponent. Those who rush forward blindly without regard for reality and circumstances often become targets and stepping stones for others; those who can clearly assess situations and their own abilities are more likely to prevail in the end.
37. Although everyone hopes for constant luck, peace, and smooth progress in life, “may everything go as wished” is only a good wish. Therefore, when life is calm, one should remain clear-minded; when things go smoothly, one should also be aware that difficulties, setbacks, or even blows may follow, and thus be prepared in advance.
38. From a certain perspective, life is also a kind of competition. When interacting with others, one should remain cautious. For those who are not well known, it is wise to maintain some vigilance and prepare contingency plans, leaving room to respond to risks, so as not to regret when problems arise.
39. Finding the purpose of your life and listening to your inner voice is far more important than the opinions and expectations of others. Return to your inner self, understand your true needs, and become the person you wish to be. To live is to be the master of oneself. — “Buddhist Teachings on Being a Person”
40. In this world of complexity and chaos, mutual understanding and tolerance shape all joys and sorrows of human relationships. Looking at the changes of life, nothing is ever fixed. When facing everything that has passed, learn to let go without entanglement, and remain calm and composed like drifting clouds. Every day and every moment is both an ending and a new beginning.
41. Life needs both romance and reality. A life without romance is inevitably lacking, often filled with regret for missed emotions and experiences due to hesitation and worry. Yet a life without a sense of reality is equally fragile; when dreams collapse and one falls back into reality, exhaustion and wounds are often unavoidable.
