Leonardo da Vinci, the legendary artist of the European Renaissance, had a passion for painting from a young age. His father sent him to the renowned Italian city of Florence to study under the master painter Verrocchio. The teacher instructed him to begin his training by drawing eggs. Da Vinci practiced drawing one egg after another for more than ten days. Noticing his growing impatience, the teacher said to him, "Do not think that drawing eggs is easy. You must realize that among a thousand eggs, no two are exactly alike; even with the same egg, if you change your perspective, the elliptical contour will appear different. To represent it perfectly on paper, one must exert tremendous effort." From then on, Da Vinci dedicated himself to studying sketching and, through long periods of diligent and arduous artistic practice, eventually created many immortal masterpieces.
