Counting the desolate tribulations, listening to the unspoken sorrows on the path, playing "Smiling at the Dust" with a broken heart. Feng'er comes like a gentle breeze from the mist, drinking the joys and sorrows of the world. A light dance, and a thousand years have passed. The song ends, the string breaks, and life fades.
Life is like a torrent; the past cannot be held, the future cannot be seen, and the present cannot be grasped. As time passes, what settles is life itself.
