Most people wish to change the world, but few think to change themselves.
If I reach out with empty hands and receive nothing, it is frustrating; but if I reach out with hands full of gifts and find no one to accept them, that is true despair.
What, ultimately, is true peace?
To forgive others is to release oneself. Forgiveness may seem like understanding others, but in reality, it is a release for oneself. Calculation leads to the loss of self and dignity; hatred leads to the loss of joy and the burden of sorrow; resentment leads to the loss of strength and invites fragility. Forgiveness allows others to feel joy through understanding and brings respect and praise to oneself, while releasing all negativity. Forgiveness makes life full of happiness and joy.
Those who are overly calculating and pedantic in their youth may suffer from dementia in their old age. Thinking too much wears down the mind. Stop calculating; man proposes, but God disposes. Life is simple: "Do good deeds and do not ask about the future." Be more inclusive, more tolerant, and accept setbacks, for that is a blessing.
Animals need to breathe, and so do you; animals need to eat, and so do you; animals feel joy and sadness, just as you sometimes feel joy and sometimes sadness. Some argue that because animals are different from humans, they can be killed without hesitation—I have never heard a more baseless lie.
