What we see as green includes many shades such as dark green, bluish green, emerald green, and deep green. Red also appears in many forms, including pink, blood red, coffee red, deep red, and peach red. No one can define a color as absolutely red or absolutely green. Even if such absolutes exist in theory, a painting cannot be created using only a single pure color. It is the variations in light, shade, and depth that give a painting its soul, and life is much the same.
Is there an absolute distinction between good and bad in people? The answer is rarely yes. Everyone has strengths and weaknesses. Strengths are worth appreciating and learning from, while weaknesses are part of human nature. One should not completely dismiss a person because of a few shortcomings. It is precisely the combination of strengths and flaws that allows people to meet and become friends in life. Without these imperfections, some relationships might never form.
We strive to develop our strengths while improving our weaknesses. However, life does not always unfold as planned. Some people spend years refining themselves, while others remain unchanged throughout their lives. Yet regardless of the outcome, there is always something to learn from a person's limitations. Prejudging people or situations too early only deprives us of opportunities for growth and understanding.
Accepting both the strengths and weaknesses of others is an important way to understand the world. Their strengths allow us to learn and grow, while their flaws offer opportunities for reflection and self-awareness. Everyone has aspects that are difficult to fully accept, but this should not lead us to exclude them entirely. We can appreciate their beauty while also learning to embrace their imperfections.
The world is not simply black and white but is made up of many layers of color. If we reject the impact and meaning of darkness outright, we also lose another dimension of beauty. Only by letting go of fixed perspectives and accepting the complexity of things as a whole can we truly perceive the many layers of beauty in life.
