Always keep an open mind; when you do, even solitude can be a form of beauty, a realm, a state of freedom. When your mind is pure and free of resentment, you will neither be harmed by others nor harm them. In reality, harm is often self-inflicted, caused by worry, ignorance, or narrow-mindedness. Like the bright moon, full of poetic charm and beauty, it is indeed solitary, accompanied by none throughout eternity. Yet its beauty, freedom, and grace—the lofty solitude it embodies—is something we all yearn for.
When the sun sets, there is no sadness, no reluctance, no helplessness, and no loneliness; its gentle light bears witness to its existence and value. The daily cycle passes without worry, without the burden of choices or the anguish of gains and losses. Walking past the quiet sunset, should we not live likewise? The sunset is infinitely beautiful, only near dusk. People often artificially attach sorrow to the sunset, occasionally feeling melancholy, solitude, or reflection, but the sunset does not need our pity; it might simply shrug helplessly.
Do not constantly find fault with others; instead, reflect on yourself. Discontent only brings suffering to yourself. Speak carefully, without aggression, do not boast, do not demean others, and naturally, foes can become friends. The true meaning of a “secure job” is not to work in one place all your life, but to have the ability to sustain yourself wherever you go.
Each day we test life's truths like lab mice. The wealthy spend to participate, the less fortunate fetch money to do the same. When others praise us, we worry it's insufficient. Love is like peeling an onion; there is always a layer that brings tears.
No need for grandiose words; a goal is for oneself, to change the current life, to prove oneself, to take a chance.
No matter how confused or lost you feel about the future, never forget to set a goal. Past or present circumstances matter little; what is most important is the achievement you aspire to in the future.
