What is happiness? It is smiling at the world even while masking one's own sadness. When the heart is tranquil, everything is tranquil; when the heart is at ease, everything is at ease. Nothing in this world is perfect; once you understand and let go, you find perfection. Do not reveal your heart to those whose intentions are unclear. A person capable of deep thought is truly a person of boundless power. It is fine to persist in love, but do not allow love to wound you, and do not waste your time on someone who does not care to share their life with you.
In this life, our value and honor are significant. However, many things that threaten our peace of mind and happiness are actually trivial or not as important as we imagine. Jealousy is ignorance, and imitation is suicide; regardless of fortune or misfortune, one must remain self-governed. The potential within a person is infinite; unless one takes action, they will remain unaware of what they are truly capable of achieving.
I have always felt that travel without purpose or a destination is the most spontaneous. Following one's heart is like a solitary escape. Walking through thousands of mountains and rivers—perhaps that is the true meaning of travel. As Emerson said: "There are three kinds of people who are never satisfied: the rich, who always dream of earning more; the sick, who always look for change; and the travelers, who always say, 'Anywhere but here.'"
There is no path beneath your feet, but once you start walking, a path is formed. For most people, no one lays out a ready-made road for easy passage; one must rely on continuous self-improvement to carve out their own way. To walk well, one must walk steadily; to go far, one must walk uprightly. Through obstacles and storms, keep moving forward; the footprints left behind are the beautiful notes of life.
