One should not constantly think about what others owe them or what others can give them, but rather reflect on what they owe others and what they can give. Focusing on what others owe generates resentment and drives away joy; constantly expecting from others leads to losing oneself, becoming humble and unmotivated. Frequently considering what you owe others fosters gratitude, treating others kindly, and naturally beautifies the soul. To give is to manifest one's value, enriching the spirit and making life more meaningful.
If you do not know which direction to take next, focus on doing your current tasks well. Everything you endure now stems from past thoughts and actions; everything you will possess in the future comes from your present deeds. Always learn to walk independently, which allows you to move more confidently. Instead of escaping passively, face challenges bravely, and life will ultimately reach a good ending.
Otherwise, life will be dull and unfulfilled. Deserts suit camels, and grasslands suit horses. When a horse loses its way and runs into the desert, it must strive even harder to find the nearest path back to the grasslands.
Life cannot exist without hope; everyone lives within hope. If someone truly lives a life without hope, they are destined to fail.
The best response to “Cannot do it!” is “Do it yourself!”
Only take what you can and should; never take what you cannot or should not.
A wise teacher should be attended closely, and loyalty must never be defied.
