One Saturday morning, a pastor was struggling to prepare his sermon. His wife was out shopping, and it was raining outside. His young son, Johnny, was restless and came to him seeking something to do.
The pastor picked up an old magazine and saw a colorful world map. He tore out the page, ripped it into small pieces, and scattered them on the living room floor. "Johnny, if you can put this map back together, I'll give you twenty-five cents," he said. He thought the boy would be occupied for at least half a day, but in less than ten minutes, there was a knock at his study door—Johnny had finished it. The pastor was astonished to see that every piece was perfectly aligned, and the map had returned to its original state.
"Son, how did you finish so quickly?" the pastor asked. Johnny replied, "It was easy! There is a picture on the back of the map. I just put a piece of paper underneath, arranged the pieces according to the picture on the back, then placed another paper on top and flipped it over. I thought if the puzzle is correct, the map should be correct too." The pastor laughed and gave him the twenty-five cents, realizing the theme for tomorrow's sermon: "If a person is right, his world is right."
This story carries a profound meaning: When you are right, your world is right. If you are dissatisfied with your environment and wish to change it, you must first change yourself. With a positive mindset, all problems will naturally find their solutions.
