I am xx from Class xx in the Department of Transportation Engineering. I come from a farming family in Ningxiang, Changsha, with six family members. Agricultural income is our sole source of livelihood. However, in recent years, the combined cost of tuition for my brother and myself, along with the medical expenses for my grandparents, has placed a heavy burden on our financially struggling family. Knowing that the opportunity to attend university is precious, I have maintained a positive attitude during my year at the College of Transportation Engineering.
