A man took a small boat to attend a friend's wedding banquet. Since the guests were all close friends, the atmosphere was lively, and everyone drank quite a bit. After the wedding, he bid farewell to the groom and stumbled toward the shore where his boat was moored.
As dusk fell, he boarded the boat and began to row vigorously. However, despite rowing for a long time, the opposite shore never appeared. Under the heavy influence of alcohol, he eventually fell into a deep sleep.
The next morning, he woke up to the piercing sunlight. Looking around, he realized the boat had not moved at all and was still at the original shore. Terrified, thinking he had encountered a ghost during the night, he jumped onto the shore to flee.
As soon as he stepped on land, he tripped over something and fell heavily. Upon closer inspection, he realized it was the mooring rope.
The knot was still firmly tied to the iron chain on the pier.
What is it that binds you and keeps you from moving forward? This is the question we must first answer. Life is filled with many invisible shackles that, if left unnoticed, will tightly bind our feet and constrain our souls. These shackles are often subtle, yet they can trap us so deeply that we become unable to extricate ourselves, limiting our every action. This invisible tugging force often leaves one feeling powerless, causing one's life journey to be severely hindered. Most frighteningly, these constraints possess a hidden destructive power, gradually eroding the spirit and wearing down one's willpower. By the time life becomes a mess, people often still don't know why.
Only by untying these hidden shackles and knots can we achieve true freedom, move forward bravely, and head toward a bright future.
However, "the one who tied the knot must be the one to untie it." Those ropes are often tangled over time through our own unconscious actions. Untying them requires great care; while others may point out where the ropes are, only you can truly untie them.
