Sometimes there is an inexplicable restlessness, an urge to be alone and silent, away from all matters. Perhaps the world is too overwhelming, or perhaps we have been swept up in too much superficiality, making it hard to face life with ease. I only hope that when I am lost, someone will be there to say, "Don't be afraid, I am here."
When the mind is clear, everything is bright; when the mind is turbid, everything is dark; when the mind is obsessed, all is illusion; when the mind is enlightened, all is Zen. The mind is the director of life's play, and thoughts are the negatives of our existence. The root of everything lies within; obsession, attachment, resentment, and hatred only cause inner turmoil and unrest. Only by letting go can we be at ease. Wisdom and folly are separated by a thin line, as are heaven and hell. Letting go of troubles leads to enlightenment; changing one's perspective brings clear skies. Whether wearing a hundred-dollar watch or a ten-thousand-dollar luxury watch, time passes the same; whether drinking ordinary wine or expensive vintage, the intoxication is the same; whether living in a small apartment or a large mansion, loneliness remains the same. We seek a sense of existence, and that has nothing to do with luxury brands. One day you will realize that true happiness comes from within, something the material world can never provide.
True light does not mean the absence of darkness; as long as there is a lamp in the soul, the light will never be extinguished. Life is not without moments of humility, but by standing tall even in humble times, we protect our dignity. As we travel through the depth of time and the weight of space, only by facing and challenging ourselves can we eventually bring our dreams to shore.
Time flows silently, and our footsteps are equally quiet. Time is gentle and graceful, allowing us to embrace the seasons and life's storms. Yet, time is also heartless, gifting us with the marks of aging and gray hair. Cherish the present, so that you won't be left with only regret when the present becomes the past.
