Most people live for others—some for those they love, others for those they hate—and both suffer equally. Spring breeze youth, meeting again amidst the clouds in Chang'an. Do not make someone a new friend if they easily forget their old ones. Past clouds and smoke, though brilliant, are merely passing by; a life of glory, though magnificent, will eventually pass; a simple life, though carefree, may leave no memory; and a mundane life, though ordinary, captures the essence of everything. Therefore, life cannot do without ideals; they are the driving force of life.
