Avoid "excess" in everything: Sages summarize all wisdom as moderation, for excess leads to error. Much like squeezing an orange, over-squeezing yields only bitterness; even in moments of joy, one should not go to extremes, as abusing one's talent will inevitably lead to mental exhaustion. Just as a tyrant's plunder yields only blood, obtaining knowledge is like seeking gold—it requires intellect and persistent effort. Only through arduous mining and tireless smelting can one obtain a brilliant golden pearl.
The more sorrowful the world becomes, the happier I shall be. The more sinister people's hearts become, the kinder I shall be. When setbacks arise, I will face them head-on. I strive to be an optimistic person—unyielding, resilient, and never complaining, bravely accepting all the challenges life presents. Heaven or hell is but a thought away; happiness is determined by the heart. It is like the air—ever-present, yet only felt when we breathe deeply. However, if we breathe too forcefully, we may fear losing our breath; if we cling too tightly to happiness, we may lose it.
In this life, everyone should possess a dream, a goal, and a direction to move toward. Existence is essentially a process of dreaming, pursuing, and eventually fulfilling those dreams.
If we desire more roses, we must plant more rosebushes.
It is not circumstances that make a person, but the person who makes the circumstances.
