A radio station once invited a business genius as a guest, and everyone was eager to hear about his path to success. He simply smiled and said, "Let me pose a question to everyone instead: A gold mine has been discovered, and people are rushing towards it, but a large river blocks their way. If it were you, what would you do?" Some suggested "taking a detour," while others suggested "swimming across." The genius smiled silently, and finally said, "Why must you go gold mining? Why not buy a boat and start a ferry business?" The crowd was stunned. He added, "In such a situation, even if you charge enough to leave travelers with nothing but their underwear, they will be willing to pay, because there is gold ahead!"
Doing what others are unwilling to do, and doing what others have never done—that is the way to success. To the wise, Adversity often signifies a hidden opportunity.
