The title of my speech today is 'Facing the Gaokao with a Smile.' Dear students, the drums of battle are beating. Whether you are filled with anticipation or feeling anxious, the Gaokao is approaching. With only 15 days left, We have reached the final stretch of this marathon. You may feel exhausted or overwhelmed, but at this critical juncture, what we need most is composure and confidence to face the challenge head-on.
These 15 days can pass in the blink of an eye, or they can be a transformative period. If you spend them aimlessly, the time will be wasted; but if you use every moment to bridge your knowledge gaps, these days can lead to significant progress. I would like to offer a few suggestions: First, prioritize your health. Ensure you have sufficient sleep and a nutritious diet, as physical well-being is the foundation of peak performance. Second, maintain a steady mindset. The Gaokao is ultimately an examination; rather than being anxious, you should accept it with composure. Third, pay attention to details and focus on filling any remaining knowledge gaps. Fourth, return to the basics. Do not overlook the fundamental concepts in your textbooks, as a solid foundation is the key to breakthroughs.
In these final days, do not stagnate or allow the progress of others to discourage you. Stay focused on your goals and keep moving toward your dreams; your hard work will yield results. After twelve years of rigorous study, we are now standing at the threshold of a new chapter. On June 7, let us step forward with our brightest smiles into a bright future!
