If the heart is unkind, Feng Shui is of no use; if one is unfilial to parents, worshiping gods is of no use; if siblings are in discord, making friends is of no use; if behavior is improper, studying is of no use; if actions are eccentric, intelligence is of no use; if one is arrogant, extensive learning is of no use; if fortune is poor, vain seeking is of no use; if one takes wealth unjustly, charity is of no use; if one wastes vital energy, medicine is of no use; if one indulges in lust and evil, merit is of no use.

Life's journey is composed of many hardships, which help us understand human nature and the respect provided by society. Through adversity, we learn to endure and gradually strengthen our souls.

It is only later in life that we realize tea has different flavors in different hearts. A pot of fresh tea brewed with still water lingers on the lips; some find it as bitter as life, while others find it as gentle as a breeze. Tea has its thickness and lightness, warmth and cold, joys and sorrows.

Having experienced the bitterness of parting across the world, one does not speak of returning, as fallen flowers drift like this. Looking at them under the flowers, not a word is said; through the green window, spring and heaven pass together. Waiting to tell my longing to the lamp, a thread of new joy, a thousand threads of old sorrow. Most precious is that what cannot be kept in this world: the youthful face leaving the mirror, and flowers leaving the tree.

Your letter brought tears to my eyes. I am such an insignificant, trivial person, unworthy of your sacrifice... yet I truly love you deeply.

With gold dust in the eyes, with pearls on the robes; the soul is yet not heavy, why must Buddha be someone? In this world, no one can take away our happiness, no one can stop our growth, and no one can replace our joy. Everything depends on ourselves.
