Pleasant conversations usually fall into a few categories: learning something useful, venting one's troubles, or learning a bit about someone else's privacy.
I know I live among civilized people because they rarely argue in public, preferring to plot against each other in secret.
For instance, I can basically conclude: a person who is idle yet forces their children to achieve great things is actually incapable and frustrated; a person who struggles hard yet allows their children to grow freely does so out of necessity. Both are trying to realize their unfulfilled desires through their children.
