I long for you, yet I hate you. You turn everything into chaos, shattering everything, lighting everything ablaze; you make the fragrance of flowers so murky, the taste of food so bland, and make life so short while the night feels so long.
If you have set a goal—such as achieving the greatest possible results in the field of science—then you must reserve time for thought. Strength is not a synonym for physical power; true strength is produced by an unyielding, iron will.
The more sorrowful the world becomes, the happier I shall be. The more sinister people become, the kinder I shall be. When setbacks come, I will face them head-on. I want to be an optimistic person who does not shrink, does not yield, does not complain, and bravely embraces all the challenges of life. Heaven or hell is determined by a single thought. Happiness is decided by the heart, much like air; you only realize its importance when you breathe deeply, yet if you breathe so hard that you gasp, you become afraid of losing it. To obsess over happiness is to lose it.
Walking side by side only brings our goals closer. The distance to the other shore determines how far our dreams can reach. Walking this path with you is the warmth of my lifetime.
Behind every bit of hard work, there is a double reward.
Self-abandonment makes one a slave to fate, while self-improvement makes one an angel of life. I do not wish to irrigate my soul with the sweat of others; I would rather use the coats of others to warm my body. I only wish to live with integrity and act with honor. What should be remembered, I will not forget; what should be forgotten, I will not hold onto.
In life, we should learn to let go and face life with a calm heart. When we take the gains and losses of life too seriously, our lives become filled with various troubles and anxieties. These are all inevitable experiences in life, so treating them with equanimity is the best approach.
