The price of wisdom is contradiction. This is life's playful jest at itself.
Do not blame others for disappointing you; blame yourself for having too high expectations. Mountains have their heights, rivers have their depths, and there is no need for comparison. Everyone has their own strengths; the wind has its freedom, the clouds have their gentleness, and there is no need to imitate. Everyone has their own character. Seek what brings you joy, guard what you deem worthwhile, and cherish what you consider happiness. There is nothing free from judgment, and no one is free from speculation.
If you do not know your next step, focus on doing well the things at hand. Everything you endure now was created by your past thoughts and actions; everything you will possess in the future stems from your present deeds. Learn to walk independently, wherever you are, as it will make your journey steadier. Rather than avoiding challenges passively, face them courageously, and life will ultimately reach a good end.
In life, not every effort yields a result. What we call possession is often only temporary satisfaction. We can seek freely, give wholeheartedly, display extravagantly, and pursue deliberately, but there is no need to possess without limits. Disrupting balance destroys harmony, and without harmony, life eventually perishes. Whether happiness or pain, it will come when it should, and leave when it wishes!
On the journey of life, we should not only pursue what we enjoy but also learn to handle what we do not like, adapting to the varying demands of life. We may be accustomed to what we like, but life often requires us to engage in things we do not favor. This calls for learning, adapting, and embracing these tasks, and by learning to enjoy what we once disliked, we may truly make progress.
