Do not expect anyone to stay with you forever; in the absence of light, even your shadow will leave you. Those who lack self-respect meet humiliation; those who lack growth meet misfortune; those who are not content gain benefit; those who are not self-sufficient gain broad knowledge. Meetings are so brief, yet the pain is so long; how can one resolve this cruel parting? As the saying goes, human nature is fundamentally good; yet, it is also said that the kind are exploited and the gentle are ridden. If you repay evil with kindness, how will you repay kindness? Repay injury with integrity, and kindness with kindness; navigate the balance between virtue and grievance with wisdom!
