Be tolerant towards petty people; taking a step back can lead to a broader horizon. As the saying goes, "Great people are magnanimous, while petty people are narrow-minded." Provoking them is akin to inviting trouble, as they can be difficult to deal with; thus, it is best to keep your distance.

On the day the storm arrives, it may blow down the holly trees, topple the spires of churches, and even shake the very foundations of palaces.

When you view others as angels, you live in heaven; when you view them as demons, you live in hell. Heaven is not in a distant place, but in the gratitude of the present moment; hell is not elsewhere, but in the moment of clinging to one's ego.

Waiting for opportunities will never be as effective as creating them yourself.

My longing is a happy sadness, a sweet melancholy, a warm pain, and a long-lasting expectation. It is a sedimentation of the past and an aspiration for a beautiful future. It is through this continuous longing that our emotions are purified and sublimated.

We often believe ourselves to be noble, just, or kind, yet we frequently place our own self-esteem above the feelings of others, leading to unexpected outcomes and many nameless sorrows.
