Sometimes, the most touching quality of a man is when he saves money for a long time just to buy his wife a long-desired gift. This kind of devotion is perhaps more precious and meaningful than the extravagant spending of the wealthy.
To be lost is to be possessed by demons; to awaken is to become a Buddha. A Buddha is someone who has seen through the patterns others cannot, doing what others cannot. Humans remain human because they are entangled in passions and desires, finding it hard to see clearly or break free. If the heart attains enlightenment, anyone can become a Buddha. Buddha is not an idol to be worshiped, but the fruit of life's cultivation. One need not burn incense or bow; the Buddha resides within the heart, not outside the self.
An individual's strength is limited, but the collective power of many can be staggering. One person might not change much, but unity creates an irresistible force. Do not attempt to change everything, for nature has its own ways. Adapting to nature is often the most rational path. If you attempt to change it without restraint, it will eventually change you and the world in its own way.
Everyone possesses unique charm; enjoy the time you have. Life is not perfect, and if it were, it wouldn't be life. If we lived only to survive, it would be better to live for the sake of living. A good mindset is essential to enjoying life. Some thoughts are as fleeting as mirages, but there is no need to dwell on them; sometimes, a little escapism serves as a remedy for self-comfort.
In life, the hardest things are maintaining a good mindset, letting go of true feelings, forgetting those who touched our hearts, and being understood by others. We navigate through love, hate, gain, loss, and conflict. Facing life's troubles and work's challenges, if we can think simply, maintain a pure perspective, and keep a calm heart, we will encounter far fewer unnecessary worries.
Leave a clear sky for your soul. Pain is inevitable, but the real danger is betraying your own heart and becoming an accomplice to that pain. Learn to see things clearly, think deeply, take what is needed, and let go of what is not. Practice restraint, be rational when retreating, and be generous when yielding. By removing distractions and reducing comparisons, one can live in harmony with fate, making life much simpler.
Some people are forever etched in memory. Even if we forget their voices, smiles, or faces, the feeling we experience when we remember them remains unchanged. We may smile and say we remain in the same place in time, but in reality, those moments have already been silently swept away by the torrent of time.
