A joyful heart is like a healing medicine, while a broken heart can drain the very marrow from one's bones.
If the heart holds a flake of pure snow, where in life would there not be clarity?
Following fate is a form of grace and progress; it is the way of the wise, not an excuse for the foolish. To follow fate is not to blindly follow, but to let things be naturally—without resentment, without haste, without excess, and without compulsion. Life is like a mirror: smile at it, and it smiles back. If one seeks a reason to live, a smile is perhaps the most essential one. Tears cannot bring back what is lost, so do not let your precious tears fall so easily.
Life is such; we should all be as humble and calm as water. By observing the inner self, one uses the finite to realize the infinite, eventually merging into the great ocean to attain eternity. I have always believed that I am a traveler on this journey. Watching the sky in silence, walking steadily, reflecting on life as time flows by.
Cherish everyone around you. Regardless of the role they play in your life, they add new colors and chapters to your journey. Through tea, we find harmony, void, breadth, and truth: through tea we see harmony, yet without harmony, the logic of tea remains hidden; through tea we see emptiness, yet without emptiness, the spirit of tea is lost; through tea we see breadth, yet without breadth, the wisdom of tea is elusive; through tea we see truth, yet without truth, the law of tea cannot be attained.
Give me a single tear, and I will see the entire ocean within your heart.
Rather than saying others cause your pain, perhaps it is simply that one's inner cultivation is not yet sufficient to meet it.
