Attitude determines everything. To live a happy life, one must first find inner peace. True peace does not come from fulfilling every desire, as desires are infinite; rather, it comes from detachment. As the saying goes, "Standing tall on a steep cliff, one is strong when free from desire." A calm mind that disregards gains and losses and practices forgiveness will naturally achieve tranquility. A peaceful and happy life is earned with a peaceful heart.
In small collaborations, set aside attitudes and respect one another; in large-scale collaborations, set aside interests and seek balance; in lifelong partnerships, set aside personalities and help each other grow. Mutual growth is the essence of survival, whether in work, love, marriage, friendship, or career.
Self-respect stems from the courage to never flatter or bow down to power. "One should be poor like tea, with a hint of fragrance amidst bitterness; one should be proud like an orchid, standing tall amidst the autumn frost." Self-respect is independent of origin, wealth, appearance, or status; it is sacred and inviolable. Society is built on reciprocity; only by respecting others can we earn respect in return.
Everything drifts by on the hurried road of time; nothing can be carried away or held onto forever. Regarding those we love, perhaps we have only briefly held their hands, yet we can no longer distinguish whether we loved the person or the unforgettable feeling of loving them.
A smile is a gift from time and an inevitability of life. By moving forward with a smile, we can face each day with courage and without fear.
