We should live in the moment, free from all attachments. There is nothing that must be done, and nothing that cannot be done; nothing that must be played, and nothing that cannot be played. By staying away from all disputes, one remains indifferent to whether things happen or nothing happens at all, and thus remains free from worry. Only this transcendent state remains unaffected by anything that occurs.
Sometimes, by letting things take their natural course, you will realize whether those things are truly worth possessing.
The most turbulent word in this world is "struggle." The noise, commotion, friction, resentment, intrigue, and deception in this world are all consequences of striving. In the end, a vast world can only hold a selfish heart. If you can calmly let go of what seems important, you will find that your heart expands and the world grows larger. By not striving, one gains freedom; by not contending, one finds tranquility.
Humans are often like this: feeling annoyed while possessing, but realizing the importance only upon losing.
I am not as strong as I imagine, yet I cannot find a place for my weakness to rest.
