During the teaching process, some segments were perfunctory and failed to achieve their intended impact. For instance, the design of the first teaching stage, while appearing well-structured, was actually ineffective. This was due to two reasons: first, because the foundation from the first lesson was not sufficiently solid, students were not given ample opportunity to express themselves; second, the teacher failed to provide precise and timely guidance, leading to an unsatisfactory start. Furthermore, regarding the question, "What do you think a real Chinese person should be like?", the outcome would have been better if Students were encouraged to speak after engaging in a dialogue with the text. Additionally, there was a missed opportunity to use the phrase "Hard work pays off" to help students understand the role of idioms and transitional sentences in connecting the entire text, as concerns about disrupting the lesson's flow and rhythm led to this oversight.
