The art of wisdom lies in knowing clearly what to ignore. Sometimes, persevering through things you least want to do will ultimately bring you what you desire most. True friendship is extending a sincere helping hand when a friend is in greatest need. In life, everyone needs sincere care and love. The power of love is immense; it grants us endless spiritual strength, allowing us to feel a sense of lighthearted happiness even after enduring hardships. Focusing solely on immediate benefits by seizing every opportunity is a sign of shortsightedness. Fortune and misfortune are intertwined; what appears to be a loss may hide a hidden benefit. If one does not strive, age catches up; if one lacks determination, fear takes over. Relationships are human endeavors, but emotions are personal expressions. Do not communicate your disdain to others, and do not paint your life with resignation. Associating with negative people can hinder your future, and being with the unprincipled may drive good people away. Life involves both waiting and loss; humans are the authors and actors of their own stories, while others are merely observers. I no longer pretend to have many friends but instead return to solitude, starting a solitary life as my true self. Although loneliness can sometimes bring emptiness, I would rather maintain my dignity this way than trade it for superficial friendships. May love regrow like a freshly mown meadow. It should grow in its own way, much like a child's teeth, hair, or nails—nurtured by its own will. Those who can maintain inner peace are truly the most powerful. Love is like a pair of chopsticks; a man and a woman are like the two sticks, and only through fate can they be held together as a pair. Life is full of attachments and reluctance, for the echoes of past joys make it hard to let go. Letting go requires courage, while cherishing requires space. It is not painful to let go of someone who loves you; the pain lies in letting go of someone you love, and even more so in loving someone who does not love you. Do not love mistakenly out of loneliness, and do not fall into loneliness because of mistaken love.
