Amidst the dust of the mortal world and the hardships of life, one should face gains and losses with composure. Do not grieve over people and things that drift away; instead, embrace the attitude of "to gain is luck, to lose is fate." Facing life's ups and downs and its conflicts, one should possess a magnanimous heart, forgiving whenever possible. Since confrontation only harms oneself and others, it is better to endure for peace or step back for a broader horizon.
To see is not necessarily to understand; to understand is not necessarily to rationalize; to rationalize is not necessarily to let go; and to let go is not necessarily to be able to pick things up again. Life is like wandering through a mist, where every step brings hardship, every hardship brings pain, and every pain presents a formidable obstacle. It is only after truly feeling the pain that one truly learns to let go. To rise again requires both courage and strength.
To maintain vitality, one must remain curious and always embrace the unknown. Behind every ordinary event may lie a cosmic mystery; every encounter with an ordinary person may provide a profound lesson; and you yourself are an unknown variable with infinite space for self-creation.
Self-respect stems from the spirit of never flattering or bowing to power. "In poverty, be like tea, with a hint of fragrance amidst the bitterness; in pride, be like an orchid, noble and unyielding." Self-respect is independent of origin, wealth, appearance, or status; it is sacred and inviolable. In a reciprocal society, only by respecting others can we earn their respect.
Life is a singular journey. While the length of life may be similar for everyone, its width is immeasurable. We cannot extend the length of our lives, but we can certainly increase their width.
When fantasy meets reality, pain is inevitable. You must either be knocked down by the pain or learn to trample it underfoot.
Wearing the same clothes two days in a row is considered impolite to others.
"Is life inherently bitter, or is it only bitter?" "Such is the essence of existence."
