One cannot ride two horses at once; to ride one, you must let go of the other. Wise people set aside anything that distracts them. Life and energy are limited; we must act like a magnifying glass, filtering out the noise of trivialities and focusing all our resources, energy, and passion onto our ultimate goals.
The great wisdom of life lies in "picking things up" and "letting things go." One must know when to act and when to release, based on the circumstances. Many intelligent people become mediocre because they hesitate when they should grasp an opportunity, or cling too tightly when they should let go. Knowing when to stop forcing what is gone, and knowing when to hold on to what is necessary, determines both the ease and the length of one's journey.
Filial piety is the foundation of blessings, for a parent's grace is as heavy as a mountain. "Xiao" (filial piety) represents the integration of generations, while "Jing" (respect) is an attitude of sincere reverence. As the ancient saying goes, "Filial piety is the principle of Heaven, the duty of Earth, and the practice of humanity." Similarly, Buddhism views honoring parents as a path to blessings, suggesting that serving one's parents is akin to honoring all Buddhas; to serve the divine, one must first serve their parents.

Meet a smile with sharing, and meet adversity with courage. Life is challenging, but if you possess the ability to face it with a smile, you possess the ability to enjoy it. When the heart is bitter, life feels like an endless sea of suffering; when the heart is sweet, life is filled with beautiful scenery. We often drown in the sorrow of misfortune and setbacks because we fail to practice gratitude and look at the world through a positive lens.
You would be much happier if you realized much sooner that you are not as important to others as you might think.
The hallmark of a true powerhouse is not the ability to defeat opponents, but the ability to ultimately conquer oneself.
