Like attracts like. We have the right to choose who we like or dislike. When faced with those we do not care for, why waste time? Wouldn't it be better to spend those moments on things we truly love?
When the sun sets, there is no sadness, no reluctance, no helplessness, and no loneliness; that faint glimmer simply bears witness to its existence and value. In its daily cyclical rhythm, there is no anxiety about the future, no worry over gains and losses, and no melancholy. Watching the quiet sunset, shouldn't we also embrace such a state of mind? As the saying goes, "The sunset is infinitely beautiful, but it is nearing dusk." We often project sadness onto the sunset, adding layers of melancholy, loneliness, or even fantasy to its beauty. While its afterglow fades quickly, the sun does not require our pity. Our groundless sentimentality has nothing to do with the sunset; if it had consciousness, it might simply shrug its shoulders in resignation.
