Life is much like riding a bus. Some lives are express buses, moving swiftly; others are slow buses, stopping at many stations and encountering many people along the way. Some people frequently miss their stops or overshoot them, missing both the scenery outside the window and the people by their side. No one knows who will stay with them until the final destination, or even which bus they are actually boarding.
If you can find reasons to be sad, you can certainly find reasons to be happy. Those who know how to let go find peace; those who know how to forget find freedom; and those who know how to care find friends. The coldness of weather is nothing compared to the coldness of the heart; may your heart always remain warm.
There is joy in a deep sleep after labor, in a calm heart free from suspicion, and in the resonance of reading; such joys are natural and easy to find. Yet, the essence of joy lies in the brief stillness following chaos—which is stillness. In stillness, joy is infinite.
Conducting affairs should be like sailing at sea, requiring high standards and efficiency, like sails billowing on a tall mast. However, one must remain grounded; no matter how much success is achieved, one should not become arrogant, or they will lose public support and their sense of purpose, eventually capsizing in the vast ocean. Work with excellence, but live with humility. When enjoying the breeze of success, one must prepare for the storm—where cutting down a tall mast might be necessary to prevent the ship from capsizing due to an unstable center of gravity.
