The most beautiful things in life are free; the next best things are expensive. Love life with all your heart. Life is a grand stage. You must face what you ought to face—it is a baptism of the soul and a purification of the mind; you must strive for what belongs to you—it is a law of survival and a struggle of life; you must cherish what should not be given up and what should be let go—it is respect for others and for yourself.
Many people carry too much baggage on life's journey—much of which is unnecessary. Try to discard those so-called problems and worries! Slow down, relax, and think clearly. Do not rush to cook all the food at once in a pressure cooker; cooking must be done dish by dish, and you should solve one obstacle at a time.
A human life is brief; soon we will turn to dust or a name, or even nothing at all. Since life is so short, the things we place such high importance on are empty, perishable, and trivial. As for everything beyond our fragile bodies and breath, it belongs neither to you nor is within your control.
As the wind blows, white petals fall like snow, lightly swirling in indifference. The mist is cool, the lotus sleeps unawakened, and the flickering light is dim and tranquil. Shadows shimmer in the distance, mountains rise and fall like shifting thoughts, and lush trees bear flowers but no fruit. Suddenly, a butterfly flutters by, its colorful wings already mottled. Buddhist bells ring out; in the reflections of this shore, I see nothing but my pale face and the obsessions I have yet to let go.
Time is the clearest evidence; it does not overlook anyone's sincerity, nor does it forgive anyone's deceit.
