No matter how much the environment indulges you, you must maintain high standards for yourself and preserve a disciplined temperament. While it may not change your current situation immediately, the rewards it brings in time will surely surprise you. Those who hold themselves to high standards will never lead a poor life. There is nothing more tedious than someone who simply drifts with the tide while complaining about their circumstances.
Life should be as humble and calm as water. By observing the Bodhisattva of Self-Nature, one can realize the infinite through the finite, eventually flowing into the vast ocean to attain eternity. I have always believed that I am a traveler on a journey. Watching the sky silently, walking steadily, and reflecting deeply as time flows by.
Sometimes I remain silent. It is not out of displeasure, but a desire to find inner peace.
All excessive desires lead to worries. Therefore, instead of pursuing everything, focus on what you ought to do; that is contentment. To find peace of mind and liberation, one must first become a person of clarity, understanding what one truly needs and how to attain it. A wise person can strive to change their environment, but more importantly, they work to change their mindset. While Changing the environment requires cleverness, changing one's mindset requires wisdom.
