A tree stands before you, lush and verdant. Its sturdy trunk is etched with the wrinkles of time, bearing the marks of passing winds and dust.
A tree is a poem. It writes of spring with green leaves and sketches the curves of the wind with its branches. It is also a gentleman of nature, graced with elegance by its flowers and maturity by its fruits.
Once a seed is planted in the earth, it no longer looks around in confusion. Instead, it focuses on rooting itself, absorbing nutrients to sprout and drinking rain to grow. It accepts barren soil and endures the hardships of growth, remaining unshaken by the outside world. Though its roots may be slender and weak, they strive to reach deep into the earth; though its green leaves may be tender and small, they yearn to stand shoulder to shoulder with the blue sky, until it stands tall and majestic with swaying branches.
When the wind comes, the tree opens its arms in welcome; when the clouds arrive, the tree reaches out to hold them. The moon peeks through its branches, and birds make their homes upon its boughs. Thus, the tree cultivates its own patch of land, defying the roar of thunder and the ferocity of lightning, enduring the freezing snow and the scorching sun. It does not yield, nor does it slacken; it remains steadfast and persistent. At this moment, its branches stretching toward the sky, its thickening trunk, and its vibrant greenery proclaim its nobility and grandeur to the heavens.
In life, many ordinary people are like trees, becoming great through the spirit and character of a tree. They are like full seeds, rooting in a corner and striving to burst forth; they are like solitary birds, standing alone with lofty ambitions. Their silence is like that of a tree, absorbing nutrients and accumulating strength in stillness. They never belittle themselves, nor do they seek hollow fame. They meet the wind and rain with a smile, remaining true to their original intentions, constantly seeking and striving with great hearts...
Until one day, like a tree with soaring branches, they possess the momentum to "ascend to the heavens to grasp the moon" and the courage to "compete with the heavens for height." By then, you will not despise them for their humble beginnings; instead, you will be moved by their spirit that refuses to settle for mediocrity. Their greatness lies in their ability to start from the ordinary, constantly exploring deeper and reaching higher, step by step, toward the pinnacle of life.
