No one spends a lifetime with a perfect person. In the end, people choose to grow old with someone who is real and genuine. Therefore, do not force yourself to become “perfect.” When you are young, being your authentic self is a more reliable choice.
Living in this city, many forms of love, waiting, dreams, and care eventually lose to time. In fact, the city lacks nothing except enough time. We do not have time to fall in love, to wait, to accompany each other through struggles, or to walk together into the future. We are always trying to find a sense of security within a very limited time — even when we know it is not the best choice, we still have to compromise.
When you feel sad because someone has left and relationships have faded, later you may realize that some people have not only lost the person, but even the last trace of connection. When you feel lonely because everything has changed, you may discover that others have experienced even greater losses. Many things are like this. When you think your situation is difficult, look at those facing greater challenges; when waiting in line feels frustrating, look at those still behind you. Then you may realize that you already have many things worth appreciating.
In the past, whenever I encountered difficulties, I always blamed bad luck. Later, I learned that doing things I had never tried could bring growth; attempting things I had never imagined could create breakthroughs; facing things I was unwilling to do could lead to change; and doing things I once feared could teach responsibility. Doing what you are familiar with is naturally comfortable, but trying something new will always bring valuable experiences, regardless of the result.
Many people's attitudes toward work are similar to their attitudes toward relationships. They only know what kind of job they want, but they do not know where to find it, what it requires, or how to pursue the opportunity. Without taking the first step, their dream opportunity can only remain an imagination.
Finding a position that is willing to develop and help you grow is more important than simply finding a seemingly excellent job. Finding someone who truly cares for and values you is more important than searching for a perfect person. The choice of people and environments matters, but what matters even more is whether they truly respect, support, and value you.
