Let me tell you something frightening: staying up late can make you hungry.
In the quiet night, I am alone. The moonlight falls like a thin layer of mist, lingering around me, as if it takes a long time to move even an inch.
I only hope that lasting companionship will not eventually turn into boredom.
I often remember who I was back then, running toward you with fearless determination in the passionate evening breeze of June.
“I like a girl.”
“She must be very beautiful.”
“You’re just being narcissistic.”
Dear night owls, please do not stay up all night. No matter how dark your eye circles become, you still cannot become a panda.
The light seems to have burned a hole through the darkness.
Staying up late and waking up early, where has my soul gone?
Later, I realized that many people’s worlds never truly needed my presence.
Do you still remember how crowded the entrance of your home was two years before that confession? And which young man once held a love letter written through sleepless nights and read it there for you?
Every hardship is overcome one step at a time; every sleepless night is endured night after night.
I like taking out my phone at night to look through updates, then leaving a “good night” message for the people I care about, letting them know that I will still be here tomorrow.
The warmest words in the world are: “Good night, don’t stay up late anymore.”
People are like this. They know playing with their phones in the dark hurts their eyes, yet they still hide under the blankets scrolling; they know smoking harms their health, yet they cannot quit; they know drinking too many sweet drinks can lead to weight gain, yet they cannot resist; they know staying up late is harmful, yet they still love going to bed late… They know you do not love me, but I still love you. In the end, all I can do is smile, as if smiling is the only thing left.
Delaying sleep and staying up late brings no benefits. Going to bed early after night falls and waking naturally with the sunrise is the best way to live.
“Leaving the old year and welcoming the new” is a magical phrase, as if everything can begin again. New Year’s celebrations matter because we all need a moment to restart. Too often, we make promises at the beginning of the year but end it with disappointment. From today on, do not let those promises remain only words. Truly do something meaningful, such as breaking a bad habit you dislike or accomplishing something you once wanted to do but never finished.
Young people, do not stay up late. If your work is unfinished, tomorrow is another chance to continue.
No matter how late I stay awake or whether I pull an all-nighter, I will still make time to eat breakfast.
Turning away once brings only wind through black hair; looking back again, snow has already covered the white head.
Behind every girl who loves staying up late, there may be someone with whom she can talk about everything.
