Understanding yourself is the most important lesson we have throughout our lives.

When you no longer become overly attached to possession and seeking, your heart can gradually gain greater freedom and peace.

A person should first understand what they are capable of doing before thinking about what they want to do. The former requires setting a realistic and achievable boundary for oneself, representing practical efforts based on reality. The latter may sometimes be only enthusiasm driven by money and interests, often coming from a lack of understanding of the world and excessive confidence. True wisdom lies in knowing oneself. The opportunities most suitable for you are often hidden in places you have never noticed or even overlooked.

Seeking rebirth in the Western Pure Land is easier than seeking to become human again in the next life. If you wish to be reborn as a human or attain heavenly existence in your next life, you must rely on yourself, and self-powered practice is difficult; seeking rebirth in the Pure Land relies on the power of Buddha and receiving Buddha's blessings, making it easier.

When facing people or situations that make you feel inferior, humiliated, helpless, incapable, angry, or afraid, your true opponent is not others, but the social rules and psychological patterns that cause you to fall into such a state.
