To help me stay healthy, my mother enrolled me in a dance class at the Youth Palace. Our male teacher wears glasses and is very strict; every lesson requires us to do stretching and bending exercises.
Today, we practiced front handsprings. The children lined up one by one. I felt a bit nervous when it was my turn. I pressed my hands onto the mat, kicked my legs forward, and completed the move, but I couldn't balance my landing and took a hard fall. It hurt so much! Teacher Sun encouraged me, saying, "Tingting, stand up, take off your shoes, and try again." I mustered my courage and tried once more. This time, my feet gripped the mat, my body arched like a crescent moon, and I stood up steadily. I did it! The teacher praised me, and I felt incredibly happy.
Teacher says, "Don't be afraid of failure; failure is the mother of success." I will keep working hard to improve.
