Larry Bett realized that his greatest weakness was his inability to expand his social network. Although he worked extremely hard in his professional field and possessed excellent skills, his lack of communication skills meant that very few people in the industry knew him. Without professional connections, he found it nearly impossible to find opportunities for growth.
Relying solely on hard work without any support from others made it difficult to stand out. Consequently, Larry Bett began to proactively engage with other jugglers. It started with discussing techniques, but as they became familiar, they began helping each other with daily matters, eventually becoming friends. As his network grew, so did his access to information; whenever an opportunity arose, his friends would let him know. Once, through a friend's recommendation, Larry Bett participated in a commercial performance and received significant rewards. More importantly, due to his outstanding performance, many event organizers sought him out, leading to an increasing number of performance opportunities and ultimately helping him escape his previous state of hardship.
