I still remember that exam; I scored only 300 out of 660 points. It was a heavy blow to me, and I knew it was my own fault for not studying hard enough. While I was feeling despondent, a classmate told me, "Failure is the mother of success." After reflecting on those words, I made a silent vow to dedicate myself to my studies. This reminded me of a story about a spider weaving its web on a stormy night. It failed the first time, the second time, the third, the fourth, and the fifth time. Despite facing repeated failures, it never gave up and continued to try. Eventually, it finally succeeded in weaving its web. This spirit—fearless in the face of failure and storms—is a quality we should all strive to possess. Therefore, I sincerely hope that no one is intimidated by failure, for failure is indeed the mother of success. I, too, will move forward towards the light and towards a bright future.
