Calmness does not mean seeing through the world and losing the desire to move forward. It is the steadiness and subtlety gained after being shaped by time. Calmness does not mean ignoring everything or acting without care; it is the peaceful and composed attitude developed after experiencing changes in life. A calm person treats life with kindness, remaining steady without losing passion; a calm person stays composed in situations, peaceful yet still able to enjoy happiness. A calm life, after going through hardships, still reveals the beauty of accepting things as they come.
Most of life's suffering comes from the troubles caused by attachment. Yet many of these worries and restrictions are placed upon ourselves. Holding tightly to one thought can trap us within it; letting go of one thought can bring freedom to the heart. Releasing attachments is the moment when we remove our inner restraints and regain peace.
Small misfortunes in life can sometimes help us overcome greater hardships.
The best relationship between two people is like dancing the cha-cha: you take one step, I take one step. We do not interfere with each other, yet we share wonderful harmony. However, many people either lose the rhythm, forget the steps, or accidentally step on each other's feet.
The bond between family members is a once-in-a-lifetime connection. No matter how long we can stay together in this life, we should cherish every moment we share. In the next life, whether we love each other or not, we may never meet again.
Smile more often, and gradually you will make yourself truly happy.
The smiles in our memories remain beneath the roof of yesterday, always reluctant to fade away. Have the forgotten paths made it impossible to find everything we once had? Therefore, we become accustomed to such reflections, always holding on to the passing of time and unable to escape the sense of loss within our hearts. Perhaps this is the unique thought process of a sensitive person.
Ten minutes can accomplish many things. Divide life into many ten-minute segments, and try not to spend them on meaningless activities.
