There are three types of people who are never satisfied: the wealthy, who always dream of earning more; the sick, who always hope for some change; and the travelers, who always say, "Anywhere is fine, as long as it is not here." Anger is like a short-circuited battery, always at risk of exploding; coldness is like winter ice, delivering a sudden chill. Give kindness to others, and they will return it; even if you are met with disdain, at least you will feel the value of your kindness! On life's journey, everyone inevitably encounters unpleasant events; learn to adjust yourself. When you have time, go hiking in the countryside or walk through the fields! Look at the vast, distant sky; feel the clear and bright beauty of the mountains. Tolerance requires a broad mind and a grand spirit, capable of accommodating others' excitement and appreciating their achievements; able to accept the excellent, the warm, and the pleasing, as well as the distressed, the troublesome, the depressing, and the ugly. Tolerance is a state of transcendence. It is said, "At thirty, one stands firm." After growing up, one should have a fixed residence, a regular routine, and a focused career. Only then can parents finally feel a sense of peace. Confucius said, "If one does not learn when young, one will be incompetent when old." As children, we should strive for self-improvement when young, and not waste our lives. Life cannot be without hardship, and the journey of life cannot be without toil. If you do not want to suffer, how can you change your life? If you are unwilling to toil, how can you create a bright future?
