We must realize that every step in life is crucial and cannot be taken in error. Yet sometimes, even the most disciplined person may momentarily lose themselves, looking back to yearn for the memory of a blooming lotus or the moonlight of years past. Gradually, we discover that life, for us, is but a grain of sand in the vast ocean, yet it carries the heavy weight of so many unforeseen circumstances. We experience reunions and partings, the intertwining of pain and joy, shouting and searching... Since no one knows the ultimate answer, our only choice is to forge ahead, smiling through the wind and the rain. We slowly learn that some people, though deeply missed, are only meant to stay in our hearts; while others, though quiet and unassuming, are meant to stay by our side for a lifetime. Love is a predestined encounter—sometimes a pause and an embrace, sometimes a passing glance or a fleeting look; some encounters are subtle and light, yet they leave a deep ache. We eventually come to understand that life always has obstacles to overcome, years have regrets to remedy, and life has mysteries to unravel.
