Loss has become a part of my life because I have always been experiencing it—losing things that were never truly mine and letting go of things that mistakenly entered my life. I still want to remain silent, even if silence becomes complete quietness; I still want to stay peaceful, even if peace turns into stillness. Perhaps it is good to continue this way. Time only leaves behind fragments of incomplete memories, which gradually fade away as the years pass. Walking alone, I experience the freedom of moving forward with loneliness as my companion while remaining calm and independent.
Mount Lushan needs to be viewed up close to appreciate its clear streams, unusual rocks, and colorful caves with countless forms. A wheat field needs to be observed closely to see the full grains hanging heavily on each stalk; it also needs to be viewed from afar to admire the endless waves of wheat spreading golden colors toward the horizon. Life also requires close observation. The beauty of sunlight, the songs of birds, the smiles of strangers, and the small details around us can make life joyful and wonderful. Life also requires a wider perspective. When we stand at the peak of our destiny and look back at the setbacks that once caused us great pain, we may realize that they were actually much smaller than we imagined.
Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, but about learning to dance in the rain.
During free time, listen to music, watch movies, or become an actor in your own life for a while. It is fine to feel sadness occasionally, but only for a short time.
The person whose hand you are holding now is someone you met through a chance that is almost a miracle. Even though we live in a realistic world, I hope you will not easily let go of each other's hands.
Treat yourself well for your own sake, and live a good life for yourself.
Most people live ordinary lives, but at the same time, they long for extraordinary experiences. My understanding is that ordinary people can create extraordinary value by approaching ordinary things with an extraordinary mindset.
