A happy life requires three attitudes: be indifferent to the past, cherish the present, and have faith in the future.
A cane can prevent a fall, but it cannot help you run fast.
Life requires balance, and happiness requires feeling. If you demand too much, weeds will grow in your heart, obscuring all the beautiful things. Do not refuse to walk into spring just because there is no sunshine; do not give up your pursuit because there is no singing; and do not abandon your ideals because there is no applause. Every path leading to the sunlight is filled with bumps and turns.
On the road, listening to others' stories with admiration, one might even forget the fictional elements within. Even if they are mere rumors, I would recount them vividly, treating them as the essence of life. For I once mistakenly believed that what I had been searching for all along was hidden within such a beautiful story.
Life is a journey, and our encounter is a beautiful scenery. What we call fate is walking together, trusting one another with all our hearts. Yet, every meeting must eventually end, as we each have our own directions and must travel to further places.
In a lifetime, one should not waste existence for the sake of a single tree, nor miss the beautiful scenery along the road. More importantly, do not engage in futile persistence—standing on a lonely island waiting for a bridge to the other side. Learn to turn, withstand temptation, and endure solitude. Do not let emotions swallow your reason, and do not let shadows trip you up on familiar paths. Ignite the flame of joy, awaken the desire for achievement, and walk steadily on the path beneath your feet. I believe in the principle of "one reap for every sow"—progress step by step, and you will eventually achieve your goals. The secret to happiness lies in: letting go of trifles and improving a little bit every day.
