However, reality can be demanding. Endless homework, occasional poor exam results, parental reprimands, and various tutoring classes can feel overwhelming. While we understand that our parents work hard to raise us and we should repay them with academic success, the heavy expectations often overlook the immense pressure we endure, leaving us exhausted.
Some parents focus solely on academic performance while neglecting to teach essential life skills. Because of this overprotection, some students struggle to manage daily tasks once they move to school. For instance, some students with decent grades find themselves unable to handle basic chores like laundry, simply because they were never encouraged to do so.
In some cultures, independence is emphasized, encouraging young adults to manage their own lives and face social challenges independently. In contrast, excessive pampering can hinder a young person's ability to adapt to society. True care should involve teaching children how to be self-reliant, rather than just providing for their every need.
Because we have youth, every day offers a new starting line and new challenges. Because we have youth, we can pursue our dreams wholeheartedly without fear of failure. Everyone has their own youth, and we should take charge of it to shape our own destiny.
