Imperfection is actually a form of perfection. Whenever I repair broken things, I realize that we are much the same—aging, wearing out, and filled with flaws. We all need to seek healing for our weary bodies from time to time. Why must we demand perfection in everything? Flaws can be mended when possible; when they cannot, we can simply let them be. Even if the imperfection is conspicuous, it becomes a part of life over time. Accepting imperfection is a form of tempering, a sign of breadth of mind, maturity, and a profound state of existence.
