There is always a distance between human hearts, as if standing on two steep mountain peaks, gazing at each other from afar. We might think we are within arm's reach, but to truly reach one another, one must traverse countless mountains and valleys. Regardless of who they are, only those who can master their mornings can master their lives. As Nan Huaijin once said: "A day's plan depends on the morning, and a year's plan depends on spring." If you cannot even master your early mornings, how can you master your day?
The ultimate goal of spiritual practice is to transform one's attitude, leading oneself toward peace, compassion, tranquility, and wisdom.
There is nothing wrong with pretending to be strong. It is much better than those who refuse to even pretend, wearing an expression that suggests the whole world owes them or that they are the unluckiest person alive.
Those who sow seeds with sweat and tears will eventually celebrate the harvest! Success teaches us to love everyone and endure everyone! A single brick is useless, and a pile of bricks is also useless if we lack the dream of building a house; without a dream, even the world's bricks are merely debris.
Life is like wearing high heels. When you admire others' elegance in high heels but fear you cannot carry them off, you might feel you can only watch from afar. But give yourself a chance; you too can be someone others admire. As long as you dare to try and break through, you will discover a different version of yourself.
I love you dearly, but there are certain reasons I cannot tell you that require me to leave. I am sorry.
If it is possible that a year from now, I still love you and you still love me, could we please try one more time?
