Do not linger on the past, nor fret about the future; everything depends on the present.
Whether your happiness is sincere or feigned, students will believe whatever expression they see on your face. Therefore, even if you cannot be genuinely happy, please at least act happy, as your every word and action leaves a lasting impression on them.
When happiness arrives, many inadvertently let it slip away, only to regret it when it is too late; at that moment, tears or regrets are of no use. One should cherish every moment, face life with enthusiasm, and enjoy each day to the fullest.
There is a strange phenomenon in the workplace: some tasks are neglected while some people have nothing to do. Those with nothing to do observe and gossip about those working, preventing them from completing their tasks efficiently. Consequently, the boss praises the idle ones for seeing things fail, and scolds the workers for not succeeding. The idle often cause trouble, while the workers are constantly overwhelmed. Are you the one with nothing to do, or the one doing everything?
When you are successful, you have many friends, but few are true. When you fall from grace, you have fewer friends, but those you have are genuine. Those closest to you in times of prosperity may be the ones furthest from you in times of adversity. You should learn to tolerate those with differing opinions to make life easier. Constantly trying to change others will only lead to suffering. Learning to endure and tolerate is a necessity. Love has only two endings: either everlasting or a final departure. Whichever you encounter, it is a matter of fate. To gain is a blessing; to lose is fate. Embrace the ebb and flow of life with equanimity.
